Event: harnessing the power of volunteering to achieve the 2030 agenda

The Volunteer Groups Alliance - a global coalition of organisations that contribute to sustainable development through volunteering - is hosting a side event at the High-Level Political Forum in New York City this week.

The event themed 'harnessing the power of volunteering to achieve the 2030 Agenda" will include a panel discussion about exploring the role of volunteers in Sustainable Development Goal implementation, and how governments, civil society, and the United Nations system can create a conducive environment for volunteering.
