Most roles with AVI will require an application form to be completed. You can find a link to the application form on the role vacancy announcement on the AVI website. The application form contains a number of selection criteria relevant to the advertised role. Please provide succinct answers (maximum 300 words per question) to these selection criteria, including at least one example that demonstrates your experience.
Please ensure you review the Role Profile, also located on the job advertisement, as it will contain detailed information on the role which we will refer to throughout the application process.

Shortlisting of applications will take place soon after the closing date. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application. Due to the large volume of applications we receive, we are only able to provide interviewed candidates with feedback via the telephone.
The initial interview will include specific behavioural type questions relating to your approach, attitude, and experience of working in a similar capacity. These questions will be tailored to the position you have applied for. Subsequent interviews may involve follow-up questions where appropriate.
We require a minimum of two referees, of which at least one must be your current or previous direct line manager. We will contact all referees over the telephone in order to check the validity of the referee and ask specific questions about the referee's opinion of your suitability for work within the capacity of the role for which you applied.
Where possible, AVI endeavours to recruit highly skilled and talented candidates using our own internal recruitment and selection methods. However, on limited occasions, recruitment agencies may be used to recruit for roles involving niche skills or other unique conditions.
We welcome phone queries from recruitment agencies, however; please be advised that there is no guarantee that a recruitment agency would be utilised as part of a standard recruitment drive.
